What to Bring
Raingear, waterproof jacket and pants, walking boots with good ankle support and grip,preferably gore-tex lined walking boots for wet conditions, walking stick if preferred, hat, gloves, thermos, day sack, insect repellant (May-September). Remember, lots of thin layers of fleece, for example) are better than one bulky layer. No jeans to be worn for walks/hikes, also cotton layers next too skin when wet can be very cold. small personnel first aid kit to be carried in day sack.
Walking Boots Tours & Maeve Kelly will not under any circumstances be responsible for any loss of or damage to baggage or possessions, or injury arising to anyone participating in any of the holidays offered. Outdoor activities may, by their nature, be hazardous and involve risk. It is recommended that you take out personal accident insurance. You may also want to consider travel insurance as an added protection.
Reservations & Deposits
To reserve your place on any tour you may e-mail me. I will hold this reservation for 14 days until receipt of the completed booking form. I require 33% deposit to accompany booking form, if paying with Paypal follow drop down menu for deposit.The balance of payment due 8 weeks before tour start date. You can pay by using Paypal, or wire in Euro. Email me for wire transfer details.
Cancellations and Refunds
Full refund of deposit (less 170 euro cancellation fee) with more than 45 days notice. 50% refund if notified between 30-45 days. We regret that no refund can be made for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the start of a holiday. Walking Boots Tours reserves the right to cancel a holiday up to four weeks prior to the starting date. If we find it necessary to cancel a holiday for any reason your deposit will be refunded or this deposit can be put towards another one of our tours.Walking Boots is not responsible for unused airline tickets.
