Short Break Tour

Suggested Itinerary

 Day 1: Evening,Arrival  in Annascaul to The Old Anchor Guesthouse.

Evening Meal & entertainment at The South Pole Inn.

Day 2: After a hearty Irish Breakfast we will walk along the Tom Crean Historical walk from Annsacaul, to Minard via Acres Hill, to Gurtachrane where Tom was born and finally to his final resting place at Ballinacoruty graveyard.

This walk is on road & hill. Approx 7-8 miles and 4 hours.

Dinner, lecture and slide show in The South Pole Inn.

Day 3: A longer walk today passing the haunting beauty of Annacaul Lake and valley. This old pathway was once a drovers road to the twice yearly fair called ?The Ballinclare Fair? held in Annascaul village. We climb from Annascaul valley over the hill and descend into the Maghnaboe valley.

Walk approx 6-7 miles, 300m elevation, at 5 hours.

Dinner, music in the vibrant town of Dingle.

Day 4: After a short drive from Annscaul towards Camp, we will walk the Dingle way from Russia To Annascaul !!! via Kncokfeehane hill. We will have superb views over Dingle Bay and west as far as Mount Eagle.

Walk appox  6-8 miles, 4-5 hours. Elevation 200m.

Dinner in The Old Anchor followed by sing song in one of Annscaul?s many colourful pubs.

Day 5: Our last day today and to blow away the cobwebs a walk along the magnificent Inch Beach, where ancient peoples made their camp, films where shot, horse races won and now a place of Special conservation.

Walk 3-4 miles, 3 hours.

 Depart at 1pm ish??.. Farewell and Safe Home.

Price for this wonderful break away.

 370 per person sharing. Minimum 4, Maximum 10.

 Single Supplement: 50 euros extra.

 This price Includes: Collection from Tralee Train Station or Kerry Airport and return, 4 nights B&B, 5 lunches, guide services, transport for the tour.
